    Random Rampage On The Move
    Written by Andrew
    Saturday, 23 August 2008

Now you no longer need be without Random Rampage, if you have a Windows Mobile, mobile/cell phone with internet access you can listen to Random Rampage on the move.
Here's a guide put together from my own phone (HTC Kaiser)

You will need the free GSPlayer which you can get from here
    Step 1:
    Step one
First off load http://www.mobile.randomrampage.com in pocket IE and click on the listen link.

    Step 2:
    Step 2
Just press yes at this step.

    Step 3:
    Step 3

If you get lucky GSPlayer will load and start to buffer the stream. If not you will get a download window in pocket IE save the file somewhere, and press the small up pointer in GSPlayer to find and load this file.

    Step 4:
    Step 4
After the buffering is done it should start streaming, you even get the song info.

I've done a little testing on this and it's worked quite well, on GPRS however on 3G the stream was much better. With HSDPA the stream was almost solid. Over WiFi the stream was the same as listening on a PC.

Working again, depending on what you class as working...

Everyting is back as it was but some covers look like this:
    Red Hot Chili Peppers Cover

This seems to be an error in the software we use to get the ablum covers on to the music. I'll see what I can but it only effects a very few tracks that where added to the playlist on Wednesday morning. It's a sort of cool effect after all. This one might take a little while to work out.

Oh yes, all my handy work on the right there. Not to worry as soon I work out how I managed to incapasitate it, I'll get things back up and running. Main thing, the music is back. Yes, I even managed to take the station offline for the better part of half an hour. Everything apart from the ablum art is now working.

    New Playlist Is Live!
    Written by Andrew
    Thursday, 14 August 2008
It's just turned 2am here in the UK and that's the new playlist in action it's taken the total amount of tracks on Random Rampage to a rather large 3369 which is 208 hours and 28 minutes (or 8.6 days) worth. The total number of new tracks are 882, I could have listed all of them all but that would  have taken rather  along time. I've also removed quite a number of tracks most of them are non-lyrical stuff and some things that plain shouldn't have even been there in the first place. I can't see anyone complaining about what's been removed, If you can't see a track you really like in the playlist then drop me and email and maybe it'll magically reappear.... There might be a few changes still to be made, I've got a few bands (like less than 10 at the moment) I'd still like to add but I'll wait untill they're are some more. I might also take out some more tracks but basical that's it and all the updates that have been promised since May are here. A few tracks have some problems with ablum art, I'll sort that out in later on today. First track to be played on the new playlist was " Foo Fighters - Sister Europe" for anyone that maybe intrested.
Click on read more to see some of the bands and tracks that where added.
